Looking For Love is a fictional series about people trying to build careers, find love, and figure out whether they really have to choose between the two.
What you see on this page is an exploration of my own character, Brit, and what a season of her life could look like. Through making it, I became more interested in the question underneath the dating story: Can you have a life you love and a career you’re ambitious about, or are we still taught that one has to come at the expense of the other?
In the next stage, I want to build the series around real influencers playing fictionalized versions of themselves, using their real lives, careers, and online worlds as part of the story.
